Fred was a maintenance mechanic for 35 years for Hanna Mining Company, retiring in 1983.

He was a member of Congregation of the Good Shepherd Church, VFW Post 5516, American Legion Post 452 and the Senior Citizens Club, all of Keewatin, Minnesota.

Fred is survived by his wife, Vera; a daughter, Cindy Noonan; a son, Bill Durheim; five brothers, Leo, Ernest, Arthur, Clarence and Raymond; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Fred died in his home and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery at Hibbing, Minnesota. (Plot 199-1-4-E 1/2)
