Galen was formerly a Nashwauk, Minnesota resident.
He was a member of Greggton Methodist Church in Longview, Texas and Temple Masonic Lodge 70 of Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Galen was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Ida Woods, his father, Joseph, and his sister, Mrs. Geraldine Throneberry.
Survivors include his wife, Modene; a son, Berry, two daughters Alicia and Anita; a sister, Mrs. John (Lucille) Sheehan; five brothers, Joseph, Marvin, Donald, Harold, and Robert; and several nieces and nephews.
He died in an Okmulgee, Oklahoma hospital and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery at Hibbing, Minnesota. (BL 2 LT 319 GR 2)
