    George came to Grand Rapids, Minnesota as a young child with his family in 1910.

    He was employed by the local telephone company and also worked in area iron mines in his earlier years. He had recently worked for the Grand Rapids Municipal Liquor Store prior to his retirement.

    He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Bratulich and Mrs. Jean Sullivan; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Betts, Mrs. Jeanette Kling, and Mrs. Ione Kriesel; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

    Buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot C-B-20-2-0)
