George Anderson married Esther Makela in Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1944. He had been a barber in the Bovey, Minnesota area and also worked for the Danube Mining Co. He had been a resident of the Minneapolis area since 1941 and a flight engineer for Northwest Airlines for 33 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 19 AF&AM in Minneapolis and had been very active in the Senior Citizens.
George died in Edina, Minnesota and is buried in Trout Lake Community Cemetery, Bovey, Minnesota (Block 7, Lot 31). He is survived by his wife, Esther Anderson; two brothers, Archie Anderson and Uno Anderson; and a sister, Laila Tuomi..
