George lived in Effie, Minnesota most of his life. He attended school there.
He was a member of Disabled American Veterans and was a resident at North Itasca Nursing Home for the past 4 1/2 years.
His wife, Ruth, died in June, 1983.
Survivors are three sons, Gary, Arlen, and Duane; two brothers, Charlie and Neil; a sister, Irene DeShaw; and eleven grandchildren.
George died at North Itasca Nursing Home and is buried in Bigfork Cemetery at Bigfork, Minnesota. (Original, Block 3)
