George Mayer married Alice Comnick Nelson in 1945 in Alexandria, Virginia. He had lived in Henderson, Nevada since 1949 and was employed as a superintendent for Fibreboard Paper Products Company at Pabco Mine, Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner in Reno’s Kerak Temple.
George died in Las Vegas, Nevada and is buried in Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery, Las Vegas, Nevada (Section 5). He is survived by his wife, Alice; a brother, Clarence; and four sisters.
