George is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothie; sons, Terry and George, Jr.; daughters, Sharyn Carringten and Linda (Dan) Stoneberg; and six grandchildren.
George lived in Pengilly, Minnesota. He died at Fairview University Medical Center-Mesabi in Hibbing, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot C-D-05-1-8)
