Following his military service, Gerald worked for Blandin Paper Company and Ken Stelle Trucking prior to his present position as truck driver with Pro Transport of Grand Forks, North Dakota.
He was a member of the Thief River Falls Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion in Warren, Minnesota.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Gail; three sons, Tim, Alfred (Buckshot), and Ryan; two daughters, Teri Gregory and Tina Garner; his mother, June; two brothers, Clyde and Ronnie; a sister, Lynn Barnett; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his father, Alfred, in 1992.
Gerald died at Itasca Medical Center in Grand Rapids and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-B-20-2-9)
