Guy Mix married Camilla Pearl Laughren in 1923. He was a resident of the Nashwauk, Minnesota area for the past 18 years. He was a member of the Nashwauk Methodist Church, the Nashwauk Moose Lodge, and a member of the DAV.
Guy died at the Veterans Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota and is buried in the Nashwauk Cemetery, Nashwauk, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Pearl; three sons, Thomas, Alan, and Neal; two daughters, Georgia (Clifford) Bakko and Rae (Ray) Crea; a brother, Robert; and thirteen grandchildren.
