Harold came to Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1936.
On August 26, 1942, he married Marcia Rukavina in Minnesota.
From 1941 to 1970 he worked for Cleveland Cliffs Mining Company and moved to St. Cloud where he worked for a sand and gravel company until retirement in 1980 when he returned to Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He was a member of the Eagles Club and Moose Lodge, both in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Harold died in a traffic accident.
Survivors are his wife, Marcia; a son, Douglas; a daughter, Diane Schroeder; a sister, Mrs. Chester (Mary) High; five brothers, Carl, Jack, Donald, Richard, and Alvin, Jr.; and two grandchildren.
Buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 2.40.4.4)
