    Harold moved to the Iron Range in 1946. He lived in Keewatin, Minnesota.

    Harold was a fork lift operator for Erie Mining Company.

    Harold is survived by his wife, Cora (Carter) Forness; five sons, Harold, Jr., Jerry, Ken, Larry, and Mark Coffey; four daughters, Jeanie Warmuth, Patti Desantis, Beth Baum, and Cathy Coffey; three brothers; five sisters, and twenty-three grandchildren.

    Harold died in the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery at Hibbing, Minnesota. (Maplehill-10-15-3 w 1/2). No photo of grave marker is available at this time.
