Harold married June Aakre on July 15, 1939.
He retired from Pickands-Mather Mine Company (Tioga, West Hill and Eric Mines) in 1973 after twenty years of service as a truck driver and mechanic.
Preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother; he is survived by his wife, June; three daughters, Lucille Olson, Leona Stockwell, and Donna Ramnarine; two sons, Leonard and David; fifteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Harold died at his home and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot C-D-19-2-4)
