Harold Anderson was a life-long resident of the Bovey area. He was employed by Cleveland Cliffs Mining Company, retiring in 1982. He enjoyed wood working, daily walks and skiing in the winter. He was a former member of the Bovey Moose Lodge and the Grand Rapids VFW Post #1720.
Harold died in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Trout Lake Community Cemetery, Bovey, Minnesota (Block 13, Lot 61). He is survived by his brothers, Howard (Mary) Anderson, Wesley (Marilyn) Anderson, and Robert (Joy) Anderson; sisters, Mildred Haikio, and Nancy (Carl) Tinquist; and brother-in-law, Everett Hiipakka. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Theodore; a sister Elvie Hiipakka; and a brother-in-law, John Haikio.
