Harry came to Minnesota at the age of 17 when his family settled in the West Cohasset area.
Following military service, he returned to Grand Rapids and worked at the Coast to Coast Store until 1951 when he became a member of the Grand Rapids Police Department. He was a patrolman until retirement on July 1, 1975.
Harry married Mildred Jones in South Caroline in 1942.
He was an active member of the Itasca Rock and Mineral Club, VFW and state law enforcement organizations.
Harry is survived by his wife, Mildred; his mother, Dora Fox; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Suzanne) Holm; a son, Dana; a brother, Robert; and five grandchildren.
Harry died at Itasca Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-G-07-1-1)
