Information from obituary published in the Itasca Iron News on June 5, 1931:
On Memorial Day, Harvey Bartholomew was laid to rest. It was fitting that the service should be on that day as the young man was a World War I veteran. Services were at the Community Church. Rev. Kamp of Cohasset, Minnesota, chaplain of McVeigh-Dunn Post, officiated, and the service was in accordance with the Legion ritual. Preceding the remains to the grave were the Woman's Drum Corps, the color guard, the firing squad, veterans of foreign wars and of the World War, Odd Fellows, and many automobiles. The committal at the grave was in charge of the I.O.O.F.

Harvey was survived by his wife and one small son. Mrs. Bartholomew is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Hursh.

Buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-D-08-1-6)
