Henry served in the United States Army in the European Theater of Operations during World War II.

Henry grew up and attended schools in Remer, Minnesota.
He married Dora Mix in 1946 in Walker, Minnesota.
Henry logged and worked construction until 1948 when he started working for the Oliver Mining Company in Coleraine, Minnesota, later United States Steel, as a truck driver and mechanic, retiring in 1979.
He also operated a hobby farm at his home.
In 1978, he started Henry's Mobile Home Park in Remer, Minnesota.
He was an active member of the Remer Alliance Church in Remer.
Henry is survived by his wife, Dora; three daughters, Nancy Thomas, Kathy Green, and Bonnie Collins; a stepdaughter, Linda Keppers; a brother, Bennett Frank; ten grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister, and five brothers.
Henry died at St. Mary' Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota and is buried in Fairview Cemetery at Remer, Minnesota. No photo of grave marker is available at this time. (C-09-08)
