Henry worked as a security guard at Hanna Mining-National Steel Company. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Keewatin, Minnesota and the VFW Post 5516 of Keewatin, Minnesota.

Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mae Zauhar in 1995.

He is survived by son John (Linda); three daughters, Susan (Frank) Koss, Mary Clare (Tom) Drazenovich, and Elizabeth Zauhar; brother, John (Kim); sister Margaret Wijas; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Henry died at the University Medical Center-Mesabi, in Hibbing, Minnesota. He is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery at Hibbing, Minnesota. (Maplehill-6-236-5w) No photo of grave marker available at this time.
