    Herbert had been a Nashwauk, Minnesota resident for 36 years.

    He was employed as a drill operator for Hanna Mining Company until his retirement due to illness in 1968.

    Herbert had lived the past five years with his nephew, Daniel Gangl.

    Survivors include a brother, Albert; five sisters, Mrs. Augusta Otto, Mrs. Ed (Emilia) Dehn, Mrs. Robert (Clara) Femus, Mrs. Esther Hall, and Mrs. Edna Gangl; and several nieces and nephews.

    Herbert died in Hibbing General Hospital in Hibbing, Minnesota and is buried in Nashwauk Cemetery at Nashwauk, Minnesota.
