Herb Meyer married Carolyn Howe in Minnesota in 1951. He was a resident of the Grand Rapids area and worked as a custodian for School District #318 for 32 years, retiring in 1988. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer.
Herb died in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Minnesota (CA44). He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; one daughter, Susan (Roger Summer) Meyer; one son, James (Julie) Meyer; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Raymond and Deloy.
