    Funeral services for Irven, who died September 24, 1963 in Spooner, Wisconsin, were held Saturday afternoon at Dahls Mortuary in Spooner.

    Survivors include his wife, Ruby of Spooner, Wisconsin; a daughter, Katherine; and a son, David; his mother, Mrs. Ed Erickson of Bovey; his father, Roy Ness of Coleraine; a brother, Rayfield Ness of Berkeley, California; and a sister, Mrs. William (Genevieve) Hitchcock, of Wichita Falls, Texas.

    Mr. Ness was a graduate of Greenway High School and served in the Army Air Corps in World War II.

    Mr. Ness is buried in Spooner City Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Washburn County at Spooner, Wisconsin.
