Isaac was a farmer, logger and security guard.

He is survived by his wife, Rhea; three daughters, Floy McAllister, Donna Beach, and Joy Bower; two sons, Rodney and Gerald; a brother, Woodrow; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Isaac died in the Bigfork Nursing Home in Bigfork, Minnesota and is buried in Wirt Cemetery in Itasca County, Minnesota.
