    With the exception of boot camp and schools, all my Navy time was spend onboard ships.

    I did a North Atlantic Cruise (visited 4 countries), several Caribbean cruises for fleet training and exercises, and a Red Sea Cruise where I visited 17 countries, some more than once.

    I was on Task Force 140 - Manned Spacecraft Recovery Force-Launch Abort Contingency in the Atlantic Ocean for Apollo 11, which was the spaceflight of the first man on the moon.

    Attended Dunwoody Institute for Heating and Air Conditioning.

    Moved to Grand Rapids, Minnesota and worked for Minnesota Power in the Electrical Department.
