Jerald was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic for Hibbing Taconite.
Jerald's passion was following the races. He faithfully attended various race tracks around the region. He loved spending time with his family, working out in his yard, camping, and spending time with his dog, "Nugget."
Jerald was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel; seven children, Jimmy (Rose), Jerald (Kelly), Johnny (Jennie), Joe (Cindy), Jack (Jammie); his daughters, Jodie (Jon Inkman) Yost and Jill (Dustin) McKay; brother, Alfred (Sherry Gould) Yost; sisters, Katherine (Bill) Renollet, Marilyn King and Penny Dewitt; twenty-two grandchildren, ex-daughter-in-law Pamela Yost and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerald passed away at St. Mary's Essentia in Duluth, Minnesota. He is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery at Hibbing, Minnesota. (MapleHill-10-319-4w1/2)
