Jerome Larson opened his own service station, Larson's Service, and worked there for many years until he retired to Wyoming. He moved to Butte, Montana in 2003 to live with his daughter when he became ill.
Jerry died in Butte, Montana and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota (Block 142). He is survived by his children, Don Larson, and Karen VanNess; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Joanne Perry and Evelyn Iannini; and two brothers, William (Rosemary) Larson, and Melvin Bernard (Ramona) Larson.
