John Lindquist worked as a truck driver in the Chicago, Illinois area most of his life. He was a member of the Teamster Union Local 710 of Chicago; a member of the National Association of the Sixth Infantry Division; and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1061 of Bovey.
John died in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota (Block 122). He is survived by three sons, Kenneth, Gary, and John, Jr.; two daughters, Eleanor Korinko and Jane Biskup; four sisters, Ebba Shoemaker, Ruth Wolfe, Elvira Kolp, and Hazel Cerino; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Carlson in 1979.
