John Bozanich married Marjorie Jean Doyle in Colorado in 1945. He was employed as a district structural engineer for the City of Los Angeles after his discharge from the Army Air Force.
John Bozanich died in Tuscon, Arizona as a result of a car accident and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota (plot MB, O, 24). He is survived by his wife, Corrine; five children, two sons and three daughters; and his brother Harold. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Mike, Nick, George and William.
