Jack was a resident in the Bovey, Minnesota area for 30 years.
He worked for J & L Mining Company for 14 years and then worked for Iron Range Township as sexton and caretaker of Lakeview Cemetery for 16 years, until his retirement in 1987.
Jack was a member of Athens Lodge No. 228 A.F. & A.M. of Davis, California. He was also a member of American Legion Post #301 of Taconite, Minnesota.
Jack is survived by his wife, Bonnie; one son, Leigh; one brother, Robert; one sister, Betty Lewis; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert M. Finlay on December 1, 1979.
Jack died at his home in Iron Range Township (rural Bovey) and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Coleraine, Minnesota. (Block 146)
