    On Oct. 13 1942 he married Marguerite Heidbreder in Alabama. Following his discharge they moved back to Grand Rapids, then moved to Duluth in 1952.
    He operated Fraser Insurance Agency in Duluth for many years. He was a member of the the Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids. He was also a member of the T.W. Hugo Lodge No. 318 A. F. & A.M. the Aad Temple Shrine and the 32 degree KCCH of Scottish Rite Bodies, Duluth Valley, all of Duluth. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion.
    He is survived by his wife Marguerite; three daughters Pamela Lomen, Laurie Harris, and Cynthia Helmer; two sons John W. Fraser and Duncan Fraser; one sister, Dorothy Olson; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. John died at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 1-B -15-1-3).

    OBIT: a Graveside memorial with full military honors held at Itasca Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids MN on April 23, A Masonic Memorial service also held April 22, 1994.
    John attended school in LaPrairie, graduated from Greenway High School in 1936. He attended Itasca Junior College, served in the Army during WW II.
    Married Marguerite Heidbreder on October 13, 1942 in Alabama. They lived in Grand Rapids until 1952 when they moved to Duluth, MN. He operated Fraser Insurance Co. Duluth, MN,
    Survived by his wife Marguerite, and 3 daughters: Pamela Lomen, Laurie Harris, Cynthia Helmer, and 2 sons: John W. Jr., and Duncan.
    Buried in Itasca Cemetery at Grand Rapids Minnesota. (Plot 1-B-15-1-3)
