Ken was raised by Martha and Mel Miersch.
Ken volunteered as an EMT on the Nashwauk-Keewatin ambulance crew.
On August 10, 1989, he was united in marriage to Denise Kasper. He was employed at BFI and Veit Disposal.
Ken enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, camping, fourwheeling, snowmobiling, and football. "Go Vikings."
Ken is survived by his wife, Denise; daughter, Tina (Zachary Patton); sister, Peggy (Harry) Smith; brother, Jerry (Charlene) Miersch; mother-in-law, Evangeline Kasper; sisters-in-law, Donna (Greg) Griffin, Deborah Howe (Terry Shaw), Diana Sutton, Dore (Steve) Voss, and Darlene Theyson (Chris Marh); many nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha; fathers, Mel and Edmond, brothers, Norman and Larry; sister, Marlene; father-in-law, Donald Kasper; and brother-in-law, Rick Sutton.
Interment was at St. Henry Catholic Cemetery in Monticello, Minnesota.
