Lee Roy attended Balsam School in Balsam and Clearwater School in Wabana Township, Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He married Delta Wertz on April 18, 1947. He farmed at Grand Rapids, Minnesota and worked for Cleveland-Cliffs Mining Company for 30 years, retiring in 1981.
He is survived by his wife, Delta; son, Gary; four brothers, Lloyd, Francis, Wilfred and Jerry; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 2.38.4.8)
