    Leo moved to the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area as a young child.

    He married Madeleine Brouillard on September 4, 1971 in Crookston, Minnesota. He lived in Chisholm, Minnesota for 22 years, working from 1971-1979 at Jones & Laughlin Steel Hill Annex Mine in Calumet, Minnesota, was the manager at H&R Block in Hibbing, Minnesota for nine years, worked at Minnesota Aqua Farms, worked at Itasca Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and was a self-employed tax consultant from 1987-1989. He moved to Warroad, Minnesota in 1996 and was employed at Marvin Windows until his death.

    Leo is survived by his wife, Madeleine, children, Christy Doyea and Ray Parks; his parents, Ronald and Gilda Parks; a brother, Lester; and a grandson, Andrew. Preceding him in death was his brother, Robert.

    Buried in Lakeside Cemetery at Trout Lake Township, Bovey, Minnesota.
