    Leonard was married on January 1, 1934 in Warba, Minnesota.

    He was a long-time Deer River, Minnesota farmer and he was a barber in Deer River from 1933 to 1946.

    Leonard is survived by his wife, Leona; four sons, Keith, Dean, Dale, and Bruce; two daughters, Janet Wagoner and Gale Dexter; one brother, S. B. Dexter; three sisters, Mabel Wolf, Ruth Dahlberg, and Margaret Martinson; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

    Leonard died at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery at Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Plot W,O,402)
