L. D. passed away at his winter residence in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He spent his summers since retiring from Northwestern Bell in 1978, in the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area.
L. D. was a longtime member of the Moose Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Eagles Club, as well as a fixture in the Swan Lake Country Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
L. D. is survived by and will be missed by special friends and family; sons, David, Bob (Linda), Jim (Deb), and Jeff (Allison); a daughter, Gayle (Emil) Draskovich; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Joy (Bud) Smith; and two nephews and one niece.
L. D. is buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (1.17.4.x)
