Lloyd was united in marriage to Eleanor M. Dufault in 1955 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He worked for Cleveland Cliffs Mining Company as a truck driver and later a mechanic from 1952 until his retirement in 1981.
After his retirement, he worked as a part-time carpenter and as a mechanic, restoring cars.
He is survived by a daughter, Sherri (Tim) Lussier; five sons, Gerald (Marilyn), Gary (Toni), Dale (Patti), Michael, and James (Shanie); five sisters, Marge Whalen, Lois Ripsen, Avis Merhar, Phyllis Larson; and Mary Lou Marcella; one brother, Vernon; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Eleanor in 1978; a brother, Arvid; and two sisters, Irene Haatvedt and Almeda Maki.
Lloyd died at his home and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-G-07-2-4)
