Lloyd was raised and attended schools in Northome, Minnesota.
He married Emma "Dorothy" Parrish on January 27, 1951 at Minneapolis, Minnesota where they lived until moving to Jacobson, Minnesota in 1957. In 1969 they moved to the Splithand area in Itasca County, Minnesota. He worked for twenty years for Iron Range Plastics in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and retired in 1977.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Marline Leen and Betty Lundquist; three sisters, Jeanette Moe, Selma Zespy, and Rudella Rieners; two brothers, Gerald and Robert; and two grandchildren. A sister and two brothers preceded him in death.
Buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 2.39.3.8)
