Lloyd attended school in Craigville and Big Falls, Minnesota.
He worked in logging camps north of Craigville for several years, then moved to the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area and worked for Hawkinson Construction Company for ten years. He retired to his home on Crooked Lake in 1988.
Preceding him in death were his parents; four brothers, Claude, Arthur, Orville and Ellsworth and two sisters, Gertrude Davis and Leona Taylor.
Howard is survived by one sister, Ethel Parson; two nieces; five nephews; and numerous cousins and friends.
Lloyd died in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Bigfork Cemetery at Bigfork, Minnesota.
