Logan served in the United States Army in World War II in the Philippines and Japan from March, 1944 until January, 1946.

Logan grew up and attended schools in Minnesota.
He was united in marriage to Anne Wilson on January 7, 1939.
Logan worked as a letter carrier at the Grand Rapids, Minnesota Post Office from 1937 until his retirement in 1975.
He was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota where he served a term as a deacon and later a term as an elder.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Donald; and a sister, Mildred.
He is survived by his wife, Anne of 66 years; two step-sons, Leonard (Elaine) Wilson and Donald (Marianne) Wilson; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Logan died at Grand Village in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot C-C-14-04)
