    After serving in the military, Marsh returned home and attended college at Dunwoody Institute and the University of Minnesota.

    In 1960, Marsh married Joyce Becker.

    Marsh was employed by the City of Coleraine, Minnesota and retired from there.

    He loved having a beautiful yard filled with flowers and fruit trees. He was often found in his sawmill, sawing lumber. Marsh enjoyed carving and creating beautiful wood items. He loved tinkering, fixing everything mechanical, fishing, and keeping the beach clean for swimming. His love of wildlife was very enlightening. He fed the deer, bear, fox, and any wildlife that came into his feeders, including all the birds.

    The love of family and friends was great. He loved having younger people fish off the dock and swim. Marsh's grandchildren and great grandchildren were the greatest joy of his life, he spoiled them all rotten.

    Marsh is preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen; and sons, Jason and John.

    He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce; daughter, Lori (Dan) Potter; son, Tony (Pat); brother, Richard (Carolyn); nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

    Marsh died at Essential St. Mary's in Duluth, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Coleraine, Minnesota. (1st Addition, Block 143, Lots 35-36)
