Martin was a former employee of the Holman Cliffs Mining Company.
Mr. and Mrs. Fleisher recently purchased the Fern Cafe at Coleraine, Minnesota, and were getting a good start in business at the time of his death.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Marvin; a daughter, Beatrice; two brothers, Tony Smuhl and Albert Smuhl; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Freund and Mrs. Lizzie Shelton.
Martin died at the Itasca Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota after an illness of four days. He is buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Coleraine, Minnesota. (Block 2, Lot 33)
