    Michael moved from the Deer River, Minnesota area to Alaska in 2002 and lived in Kenai, Alaska.

    He was a life-time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and also a member of the American Legion Post 20 in Kenai, Alaska.

    Michael enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and fishing.

    "He enjoyed reading very much and instilled that love in his children as well," his daughter, Teresa, said.

    "He was a wonderful brother and friend. His listening abilities brought him very close to many people. He was beloved by his American Legion family and will be missed very much," his family said.

    Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Marian Ehrman; and brothers, Gary, Timothy, and Steven.

    His is survived by his son, Larry Ehrman; daughter, Teresa Chirstie; brothers, Dennis Ehrman and his wife, Jean, and Richard Ehrman; sisters, Carol Peck and her husand, Roger, Susan and Ron Leritz, Debbie Ehrman and husband, Bill, Elizabeth Erhman and husband, Dave, Mary and Steve Weathern; sister-in-law Nancy Ehrman; and beloved friends, Milt Hancock and Laurel Pickering of Kenai, Alaska.

    Michael died at his home in Kenai, Alaska and a memorial was held at the Deer River Vets Club in Deer River, Minnesota.
