Mike Bibich married Carol Litchke in 1951 in Chisholm, Minnesota and the couple lived in Bovey, Minnesota. He worked in the surveyor department of U.S. Steel prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Bovey Fire Department for 25 years.
Mike Bibich died in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemtery, Coleraine, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Carol; a son, Michael; a daughter, Paula (Chuck) Schafer; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Pete (Freda) Bibich and Nick Bibich; six sisters, Aggie Johnson, Mary Hanson, Sylvia Specht, Doris (Wayne) Bailey, Joyce (Al) Zeleznikar, and Vi (George) Koral; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George; and two sisters, Mildred Polovina and Jenny Platisha.
