Morris moved with his family to Grand Rapids, Minnesota as a young child and attended school in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He worked for the Minnesota State Highway Department for 41 years, retiring in 1985.
Morris married Beverly Wells on July 25, 1952.
Preceded in death by a brother Bernal in 1979, he is survived by his wife Beverly; four daughters, Betty, Mary, Peggy Hanson, and Rose Marsh; two sons, David and Brian; three sisters, Winnie Jones, Jo Jones, and Vera Underwood; and eight grandchildren.
Morris died in Arbo Township, Itasca County, Minnesota and is buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 1.7.1.7)
