Norman was the oldest of seven children. He graduated from Greenway High School and Itasca Junior College with honors.
Norman retired from the M.A. Hanna Company after 25 dedicated years of employment as a mining engineer.
He was an avid camper, golfer, bowler, dancer, hunter and fisherman. He was active in the communities he lived in.
Norman enjoyed his family and is survived by his daughter, Norma Anne McReynolds; brother, Virgil; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; extended family, Steven, Susan and family, Tommy, Ryan; nieces, nephews and cousins; friend, Ruth; and many others.
Norman was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Anne; second wife of 12 years, Kathy; son, Charles; brothers, Clayton and Gordon; sisters, Bernice, Murial, and Donna; and many relatives and friends.
Norman was a long time resident of La Hacienda Estates in Alamo, Texas and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery at Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Section 1, Site 31)
