Orrin grew up and attended school in Babbitt, Minnesota.
On June 14, 1957, Orrin was married to Doreen M. Kumpula in Cass Lake, Minnesota.
He worked for Reserve Mining Company in Babbitt for many years.
Orrin was a long time resident of Babbitt, but he also spent a great deal of time at the family summer home in Bena, Minnesota.
He loved woodworking, hunting and the outdoors. Orrin was a member of the American Legion Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Babbitt.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Doreen, in 2000.
Orrin is survived by a daughter, Cheri (David) Sullivan; three sons, Perry (Dorothy), Greg (Connie) and Rory; six sisters, Barb (Floyd) LaCroix, Grace Pospichal, Ardene (Mert) Lego, Della (Paul) Loff, Laura (Ernie) Knutson; and Marg Forbord; a brother, John (Elaine) Forbord; and seven grandchildren.
Orrin died at the Deer River Health Care Center in Deer River, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot C-A-22-0-9)
