    After the war, he returned to Chicago where he worked in sheet metal and security guard work. He returned to the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area in 1985 after retiring due to health.

    Orville is survived by a son, Larry; a daughter, Linda Diane Bruno; a special friend, Dolores Carr; two sisters, Leona Taylor and Ethel Parson; a brother, Lloyd Davis; and three grandchildren.

    Orville died at Itasca Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. No services were held.
