    Patricia joined the United States Air Force as a flight nurse in 1963.

    Patricia moved to New Mexico with her family in 1956.

    Patricia graduated as class valedictorian at Loretto Academy in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

    She met and married former husband Roy Dower at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, and they moved to Montana following her discharge in 1965.

    Patricia worked as a registered nurse at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana for five years, and later became a charter pilot and flight instructor in the Butte area. In 1979 she earned the airline transport rating, the highest civilian status awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration. She accumulated more than 10,000 hours air time.

    Patricia is survived by daughters, Lisa Anne, Lauri Joy, and Jenny Dower; her mother, Frances Riddell; and a brother, Thomas.

    Patricia died in a Butte, Montana hospital and final disposition was by cremation.
