Pat is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Jason and Chad; two daughters, Tammy and Wendy; his mother, Florence; four brothers, James, John, Jerry and Michael; seven sisters, Carol Gielen, Ella Parker, Kathy Tatro, Marcia Dorry, Peggy Vaneps, Nadine Hopkins, and Roberta Houtari.

Pat died at Community Memorial Hospital in Deer River, Minnesota and is buried in Olivet Cemetery at Deer River, Minnesota. No photo of grave marker is available at this time.
