Paul Dimich returned to rural Bovey after his discharge from the Army and resided there until his death. He was employed with various construction companies before starting his own construction company. He retired from this occupation in August 2009 after a severe injury, but he continued to assist his parents in maintaining the family farm in Lawrence Lake.
Paul died at his residence in rural Bovey and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota (Serbian section). He is survived by his mother, Marie Dimich; sister, Jeanne (Gary) Meissner; brother, Walter (Becky) Dimich; two nieces; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George Dimich; and grandparents, Paul & Manda Dimich and Walter & Queen Smith.
