Paul married Bernadine F. Finken on May 8, 1947, in Grey Eagle.
He worked at Cleveland Cliffs Mining Company, retiring after 30 years.
Paul is survived by five sons, Ronald (Connie), Kenneth (Judy), David (Kari), Arnold (Kathy), and Gary (Barb); one daughter, Jane (Keith) Orazem; twenty-three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Paatela, Irene (Donald) Kramarich, and Darlene Krancich; and one brother, Victor.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Bernadine; four sons, James, Robert, Richard, and Paul, Jr.; sisters, Cecila Labar, Martha Cole, Susan Finken; and three brothers, Fred, Sylvester and Thomas.
Paul was a Warba, Minnesota resident. He died at Grand Village Nursing Home in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Coleraine, Minnesota.
