    Paul came to Itasca County in 1916.

    Paul married Charlotte M. Hall in 1939.

    He settled in Wabana Township.

    Paul became a pioneer in the establishing of the services of employment and security in Itasca County and had been manager of the service office in Grand Rapids, Minnesota for 25 years before his retirement in 1959.

    He was a charter member of Itasca Barracks World War I Veterans, as well as of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a past commander of McVeigh-Dunn post of the Legion. Paul belonged to the Rotary Club and Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

    Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; a son, Charles; a daughter, Jane; a brother, Howard; and a sister, Marie Dudley.

    Paul was the retired manager of the Grand Rapids office of the Minnesota Division of Employment and Security.

    Paul died at Itasca Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He had been in poor health a long time. Paul is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery at Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Section D, Site 3355)
